Inside the workshop: four two-post hoists with vehicles up for service

The workshop

Four hoists, a dyno, and people who will tell you what is actually wrong.

AAA stands for All Auto Accessories. We are a mechanical workshop and an auto electrical shop in the same building on Violet Street, right on the Bruce Highway as it runs through Gympie, which means most jobs get sorted in one place instead of being sent down the road.

The everyday side is servicing, brakes, air conditioning, wiring and roadworthy certificates. The other side is performance: a Mainline dyno on site, authorised Haltech dealer and installer, stainless pipework made up in-house, and a lot of time spent on 4WDs, JDM cars, LS and Barra builds.

Towing is available if the car will not come to us, and we will explain the fault before we pick up a spanner.

On site

What we do

Everything on the board out the front, and it is all done here.

Mechanical repairs

General mechanical repairs and routine logbook servicing, on anything from a daily driver to a work ute.

Auto electrical

Auto electrical repairs and fitting by qualified auto electricians. Fault finding, wiring, lights, fuses and trailer plugs.

Air conditioning

Vehicle air conditioning service and repair, which matters rather a lot in a Queensland summer.

Roadworthy inspections

Roadworthy certificates (R.W.C) done on site, plus modification plates when your build needs one.

Dyno tuning

Mainline dyno on site and an authorised Haltech dealer and installer, so tuning is done here, not sent away.

Performance builds

Specialising in 4WD and performance vehicles: JDM, LS and Barra platforms, with supply, fitment and tuning all in-house.

Stainless fabrication

Stainless pipework fabrication in-house, so exhaust and intake work is made to fit rather than forced to fit.

Caravan and camper power

Solar setups for caravans and campers: dual battery kits, solar panels and Anderson plug installations.

Child seat anchor points

Child seat anchor point installation, fitted properly and certified.

Performance and 4WD

Tuned on our own dyno, not guessed at.

We are an authorised Haltech dealer and installer with a Mainline dyno in the shed, so ECU work, fuel injection upgrades and tuning happen under the same roof as the fabrication. Stainless pipework is made up here to suit the car in front of us.

  • Haltech ECU supply, installation and tuning
  • Mainline dyno tuning and remaps
  • JDM, LS and Barra platform builds
  • Stainless pipework fabrication
  • Modification plates and engineering compliance

The AAA Repairs and Electrical team outside the workshop

The team

A local crew who will talk you through the job.

Qualified mechanics and qualified auto electricians, plus an apprentice coming through. The thing customers mention most often in reviews is not the price, it is being told what was wrong and why, before the work started.

Nothing but good things to say about the guys. Done exhaust manifold gasket and full remap on the computer of my vf ss. Done in 2 days. Well priced. And very informative..... they told why my car was running like crap beforehand and what they done too fix it. Goes like a cut snake now. Very happy

Huge thanks to Derek for getting my Civic up and running. His knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The car is running great, and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Tegan and Derek have been amazing with all the issues with our project cars especially the wife's crown making the ecu and gearbox work flawlessly, the information around all the work done and the support after the work has been amazing 100% would recommend

Needed my car serviced pretty urgently so I called them and was able to get booked the following day. Brought my car in the afternoon and they were done within an hour! Quite a reasonable price for a general service

Unreal service, communication and quality workmanship to top it off! Couldn't be happier with AAA Repairs and Electrical!

Today, I had the urgent need of an auto electrician as I lost my indicators (blinkers) in my car due to a dodgy trailer plug. Both Brad and Derek squeezed me in (twice) to fault find and rectify blown fuses... Costs very reasonable. Friendly and courteous staff, taking the time to explain the issues.
